University Hospitals continued to grow in 2012, bringing our innovative, nationally renowned care quality closer to patients all across Northeast Ohio.
The UH-affiliated medical center in Middleburg Heights launched a $128 million new-facility project, to include an emergency department, intensive-care unit, bed tower and parking.
Grace Bedford, a 32-bed long-term acute-care unit, opens at UH Bedford Medical Center, a campus of UH Regional Hospitals, in a UH partnership with Grace Hospital.
UH Geauga opened Comprehensive Pain Center and Sleep Center.
Connor Network’s holistic medicine expanded to UH Westlake, UH Sharon Health Centers.
Acquired 21 established primary-care physicians in Akron and northern Summit County.
UH expanded services at the Transplant Institute Education and Evaluation Center in Akron.
Eye Institute expanded to UH Landerbrook Health Center in Mayfield Heights.
